What qualifies you to represent the people of Hawaii?

I am one of them.

What are the top three challenges facing the voters you seek to represent?

No confidence in anyone they vote for changing anything. There’s only one. That’s it.

If elected, what will be your highest legislative priority?

Bringing attention to the fact that medical errors in our hospitals are now killing more than 250,000 Americans a year, but not one politician is discussing this, especially Tulsi Gabbard. We need more qualified doctors and nurses treated the people in this state and nationally. Hawaii has become a state where tourists visit our beaches, and where our residents are wondering if they’re going to end up living on one because they can’t pay their rent. Teacher pay is awful, mental health care is awful and we need to do something now.

If elected, what can you do to improve the lives of your constituents?

Open my mouth. Make sure they walk out of the hospitals they walk into. Make sure teachers have better pay. Make sure that is foreigners, even those on the mainland, who choose to buy a home in Hawaii are assessed a privilege tax, money that goes towards better educating our students, attracting better doctors and mental health professionals, and where affordable housing doesn’t begin at $400,000.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

Let me be the Trojan Horse that you put into this Congress. It is time for Hawaii to be taken seriously as a state, not just a tourist destination. We have a voice and we’re not using it. I understand I may sound a bit cynical, but since you put Tulsi Gabbard in charge, what about your life is better today than it was before you voted for her, a woman who won’t even agree to debates among those who challenge her in her own party. That’s not about you, folks. That’s about her job. How’s yours going? All three of them? She only has one. And she has the best health coverage money can buy. How’s yours? How is your everything? I look forward to her not backing out or being “unavailable” for a debate with me, the only republican candidate. I am a moderate republican who believes in a woman’s right to choose, but also the second amendment. As a gay male, I will support the gay community as well. Not everyone in the Republican Party is as portrayed. Let’s do something different...by actually DOING something.
