What qualifies you to represent the people of Hawaii?

The fact that I listen to their concerns and take initiatives to solve those concerns in the quickest possible manner.
I am a person who gets in the trenches and makes things happen. I don't just talk; I DO.
I have high morals, principles and values.
I have the ability to see both sides of every issue and find a middle ground.
I'm fair and I have common sense.

What are the top three challenges facing the voters you seek to represent?

Homelessness/Affordable Housing
Shortage of Doctors
A Regional Park

If elected, what will be your highest legislative priority?

I would have to see what is most pressing at that time...

If elected, what can you do to improve the lives of your constituents?

Implement a MEDEX PA (Physician Assistant) Program. As the population of Hawaii has grown in the past several decades, the number of healthcare providers has not kept pace. It is projected that we are in need of between 600-900 advanced practice providers by 2020 in order to meet demand. By bringing this type of education to Kona, I hope to reverse the trend that sends our local talents to the mainland. The students recruited from their own communities will ultimately go on to serve those same communities.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I do not have a personal agenda. My sole aspiration in this quest for office is to be a "Public Servant" and represent the people in my District.
I list myself as "nonpartisan" as I believe that once you assign a label to yourself, you put on blinders and then become incapable of seeing anything but tunnel vision...other perspectives are not taken into consideration. Diversity is what makes Hawaii, Hawaii...
