What qualifies you to represent the people of Hawaii?

As a military personnel, a business owner and a community leader for over 25 years, I feel that I have the experience and the knowledge to listen to the people's concern and represent them

What are the top three challenges facing the voters you seek to represent?

Lack of work force housing, affordable rental and inadequate public transportation

If elected, what will be your highest legislative priority?

To work vigorously with the private sector, state and federal government to construct work force housing and affordable rental units on West Maui.

If elected, what can you do to improve the lives of your constituents?

I believe that having enough work force housing, affordable rental units and adequate public transportation will help to improve the lives of many of my constituents on Maui.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I consider myself to be a leader and a team player. As one of nine Members of the Maui County Council, it is very important that as a Councilmember, I am able to work closely with our new Mayor and the other Councilmembers. As a small business owner, a father of two adult children and two grandsons, I am committed to see that Maui will be a home for all and that my grandchildren will not have to leave the island to be able to be called home owners. For over two decades, I have been very involve with many civic clubs and organizations and I believe I know what it takes to make a difference a change people's lives for the better.
