What qualifies you to represent the people of Hawaii?

As the current State Representative of the 38th District, I have utilized my legislative, work, educational and community experiences to continue to strive to improve the quality of life for our residents and address important issues on their behalf. I believe that I can continue to provide effective representation and make a difference in our district and state.

What are the top three challenges facing the voters you seek to represent?

Our district has its share of concerns that many other communities face. I feel that the top three challenges are finding ways to better our residents’ quality of life, homelessness and crime.

If elected, what will be your highest legislative priority?

A top priority would be addressing quality of life-related issues such as traffic congestion, protecting local jobs and providing needed government services and resources.

If elected, what can you do to improve the lives of your constituents?

I will continue to work hard to find ways to address traffic for commuters in West and Central Oahu, keep our residents working by continuing to support our key economic drivers and emerging industries, ensure better and safer roadways and help to invest more in our public infrastructure and the delivery of these services including areas of education, affordable housing, transportation, health and human services.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I am deeply honored and privileged to have served the 38th and 35th House Districts for nearly 10 years in the Hawaii State Legislature. With your continued confidence, I will continue to work hard to make our community the best that it can be. My family and I would like to extend our warmest wishes to you and your loved ones and we humbly ask for your support this primary election.
