I love serving our community as your public servant. With this responsibility, I will continue to work hard and preserve this special place that is filled with great people and culture, so the future generations can excel.
As our community continues to grow, so do our families. I will continue to work on prioritizing the state budget for Education, re-investing in our safety net for our community, supporting long-range education/transportation infrastructure projects, and creating more opportunities for local families. It would be an honor and privilege to continue serving as your State Representative for House District 39.
Prioritizing long-range educational infrastructure within our community.
I will continue to focus on leading through grassroots efforts by organizing and actively participating in projects that care for our communities, like environmental rehabilitation, community clean–up projects and graffiti paint-outs. I also participate with HPD in the Keiki I.D. and Community Traffic Awareness Program (CTAP). I currently serve as the State Representative for House District 39 and we have gotten many projects done in our community working together over the years that have and will continue to provide a better quality of life. We continue to work on improving traffic infrastructure, educational infrastructure, and creating job opportunities within our community.
I was born in Hawaii and raised in Waipahu; the Aloha Spirit of our community has blessed me with the honor of humbly serving you. My foundation was established through the experiences with Family, Mentors, and Friends. I also believe my ethnicities (Hawaiian, Irish, Filipino, and Japanese) mold my respect for our cultures. My educational institutions were Saint Joseph School in Waipahu, Damien Memorial School, and the University of Hawaii at Manoa. I achieved dual degrees in Political Science and Sociology, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration. I also worked as a social worker for over five years at a local non-profit serving families in our family court system.
